Rocket 3F
Rocket 3F Pro is a great program for windows three-dimensional polygon modeling for designers. Developers Andrei Sarmadac and Kun Shi have released Rocket 3F, a streamlined new polygon and subdivision surface modeling application with some cool features.
Modeling with Rocket 3F is like drawing – so simple and inspiring! The most important feature of Rocket 3F is Workflow! It’s fast and friendly! The software – ‘3F’ stands for ‘fast, fun and friendly’ – aims to give concept artists and designers a more intuitive route into 3D modeling than conventional DCC software .
The software includes a range of standard basic tools for creating and editing polygonal and sub-D geometries, including simple scene and array hierarchies, Boolean functions, and triggers.
More unusual features include a workflow, geared to mouse or stylus-only input, and what Sarmadac describes as “completely unique” wrinkle tools. There is also the option to display models in silhouette-only mode, which seems useful for conceptual design.
Rocket 3F also comes with plugins that connect to the MoI visual NURBS modeler, 3D-Coat voxel sculpting and restoration tools, and Luxion’s KeyShot renderer.
