Aescripts Super Morphings
Aescripts Super Morphings is a script that runs on the Adobe After Effects platform, specifically designed to perform transitions between any two layers.
The most distinctive feature of this tool is that it doesn’t simply create distortion. It uses a hybrid approach – combining geometric transformation, object slicing, and motion trail creation to create a visual illusion. The result is an incredibly smooth liquid transition, making the viewer feel as if object A “melts” and naturally reconstructs into object B.

- Automatic Morphing (One-Click Morph)
- This is the most basic feature. You select Layer 1, select Layer 2, and press the “Morph” button. The script will automatically cut Layer 1, creating an inward-pulling effect and pushing Layer 2 outward. You don’t need to know math or expressions; the script does it all for you.
- Slice Control
- To create the feeling of an object dissolving, Super Morphings cuts the object into many small pieces. The new version allows you to customize the number of slices.
- Few slices: Creates a solid, modern feel.
- Many slices: Creates a smooth, watery or smoky feel.
- Trajectory Control
- Not only can you transform in place, but you can also control the object’s movement along a curved path during transformation. This feature is extremely useful for creating Logo Reveal effects, where icons fly in from all sides and merge into the main logo.
- Trails & Smear
- To conceal significant differences between two shapes (for example, transforming an elephant into a teapot), Aescripts Super Morphings creates speed lines or smear effects. This tricks the viewer’s eye, making the transition appear seamless even though the two original shapes are completely unrelated.
