How to install CATIA v5 R2016
- Turn off anti-virus software (Note also turn off Windows Defender)
- Extract the downloaded software
- Run the file “DSLS_SSQ_V6R2016x_Installer_20160205.exe” with Run as Administrator
- A window will appear, right click select Connect, then continue to right click select Display Properties to leave and will fill this information in later
- Unzip the file “catia_licgen.rar“, run the file “DSLS.LicGen.v1.5.SSQ.exe” with Run as Administrator
- Fill in from the License Administration Tool >> Sollid Squad as follows
- Administrator Port >> Server Name
- Computer ID >> Server ID
- then choose Generate to save the “.licz” license file to somewhere
- Go back to the License Administration Tool on the toolbar select Enroll Licenses find the license file “.licz” recently saved above
- Finished opening the software, video test Windows 10 – 64bit
