Redshift Render
Redshift Render is a powerful GPU accelerated renderer, built to meet the specific needs of contemporary high-end production.
Redshift was developed based on the high demand of high-end production to support creative individuals and studios of almost any size. It allows you to have different ways to calculate the final displayed image and it allows artists to speed up the workflow.
The software had an interactive preview area and they named it RenderView. Users can easily see a rendered scene in real time when the software takes advantage of the GPU to render. It is a great supporter of production pipelines and workflows and from the outset, it has allowed farm support.

How to install Redshift Render
- Turn off anti-virus software (Note also turn off Windows Defender)
- Need to install the main software before: Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Maya, Houdini …
1. Install Cinema4D_2023.2.2_Win.exe in any folder
2. Go to the folder where you installed blue, delete the Redshift folder
3. In the same folder, go to the corelibs folder, drop the file c4dplugin.xdl64 there with replacement
4. Remove the old Maxon_app (If it was installed before):
4.1 Uninstall Maxon App via Control Panel, Programs and Features
4.2 Stop the Red Giant Service and mxredirect services, turn off the MxNotify process, delete the following folders, if any:
– C:\ProgramData\Maxon
– C:\ProgramData\Red Giant
– C:\Program Files\Red Giant
– C:\Program Files\Maxon
– C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Local\Maxon
– C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Local\Red Giant
– C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\Red Giant
4.3 After removal, install Maxon_App_2023.1.0_Win.exe
5. Log out of your Maxon account
6. Register a new mail at https://tempmailo.com
7. Go to the website https://my.maxon.net and register a new profile linked to a new email. Country: USA
8. Confirm your registration at https://tempmailo.com
9. Log into a new account in the Maxon application, close the application
10. Go to task manager->services, disable mxredirect and Red Giant Service.
11. Go to the path C:\Program Files\Red Giant\Services, change the file name Red Giant Service.exe to another, for example Or_Red Giant Service.exe
12. Transfer Red Giant Service.exe to the same folder, go to properties, if there is a Caution icon, check the Unblock box, if there is nothing similar, then you don’t need to do anything, move on.
13. Go to task manager->services again, enable mxredirect and Red Giant Service
14. Go to the website https://www.uuidgenerator.net and copy the generated numbers;
15. Open the Registry Editor, enter regedit, press enter and in the window that opens follow the path
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography, replace MachineGuid with a new value.
16. Go to the Maxon application, click get trial version, close
17. Install redshift_v3.5.19_setup.exe in the same folder where cinema is installed
18. Go to the Red Star Plugins 3519->C4D folder, transfer the RedStar_3519.xdl64 file to the plugins folder in Cinema 4D
19. Let’s launch, enjoy life
After 14 days:
1. Log out of the old account.
2. Go to the website https://www.uuidgenerator.net and copy the generated numbers;
3. Open the Registry Editor, enter regedit, press enter and in the window that opens follow the path
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography, replace MachineGuid with a new value.
4. Register a new mail at https://tempmailo.com, confirm, log in to a new account
5. Turn on the trial.
